THE CAMERA MAN SHOULD MOVE TO THE FRONT OF HER TO SEE HOW THE DOCTOR SEE THAT THE DEVIATION TMJ GOES.. THANK YOU MY BROTHERS
It may be a basic exercise, but I didn't know it and turns out it is also a good way to check if your core muscles are weak and need more work, something really important for your back if you suffer from back pain. Very well explained!
1-6-2025Mo0603: Thanks for posting your tips on shoveling snow. It helps to know that you're in the St. Louis area where we don't always get the powdery snow shown in other videos. In fact, there's a layer of ice beneath the 6"-10" we got Sunday into this Monday morning. My Dad had a system of using a stiff broom to sweep light accumulation on walkways - resorting to a shovel only when necessary. When I was young, I thought that was the lazy way of handling snowfall. As I got older, I realized that was a responsible way of treating walkways: you keep the accumulation down and have a light layer for traction until you sow salt or ice melt. My Dad was smart. As a senior myself, I'm looking for efficient ways of doing things. I made it out late afternoon yesterday to clear my vehicle and knock down accumulation on the steps - about 13 from the sidewalk and 5 up to the porch. We got more accumulation overnight. I did drop some ice melt - but snow has covered it and there's still the ice on the bottom. I'll take my time. Thanks again for your tips and reminders!
Ehhhhh....
Been struggling for the past 2 weeks a little bit, will give this a try tho!
I hope it helps!
thank you, the first rep felt great! will keep doing it.👍
Awesome to hear!
Благодарю
Would this be goof for pec tear myotendinous junction
Yeah but probably depends on the degree of tear and level of pain.
@@elitechiroperformance no pain full mobility can i make a 100 % recovery with no surgurey , What would you suggest for pec tear Rupture of the sternal head of pectoralis major at the musculotendinous junction with muscle retraction creating a 3.2x1.9 cm muscle-tendon gap. - Mild supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendinosis with fraying of bursal surface of supraspinatussupraspinatus tendon. Minimal increased fluid in SA-SD bursa. Longitudinal intrasubstance tear of proximal intra-articular long head of biceps tendon. Highly suspicious of tear at chondrolabral junction of posterior glenoid labrum. - Early AC arthrosis with increased joint fluid im a bjj athlete do you have programs for sale?
Great exercise demonstration and explanation
Thank you!
I appreciate how you provide clear instructions and demonstrate each movement. Big thanks! 👍💪
Thank you for the kind words!
Thanks
Thank you, it helped me 🙏
Glad it helped!
My right scap is pretty loose, my left is locked from tight teres and subscap. It's so hard to stretch that area. So winging is good? Does that affect how engaged the lats are?
In most cases a little bit of winging is no problem. I look for excessive winging especially if it is only on one side. Even then, it may or may not be an issue. In theory, the Lat shouldn't be affected much since it doesn't have a major attachment to the scap. However, anything is possible.
Perfect presentation, tyvm.
Why not just have him go shirtless? lol 😂
I don't think everybody is ready for that!
Nikolaus Forge
Can you bend your lower leg and bring up? To upper leg?
Yup that's a common variation of the exercise
Lang Prairie
I just don't feel these stretches and it's hard to find any relief, i believe im doing them right? what is going on??
Sometimes it is hard to feel a particular stretch while others may have no issues. You can try the movement on your back or up against a wall. See if that helps.
I’m over 500lb and I’m working out daily to get my surgery new hip. Just wondering if this is ok for me, I have big heavy stomach. I use a walker and I’m trying hard to loose the weight. I’m leaning over now on counters and my butt and hip hurts when walking but I enjoy swimming. Hope anyone can help me. Hugs frm Sacramento.
This is something I would recommend seeing somebody in person since I don't know the specifics of what you got going on.
What if you have vertigo? It's hard to lay all the way flat. Any suggestions?
You can do this while sitting upright or at an angle as well.
How to breathe and exhale completely WHILE keeping that intra Abdominal Pressure? While doing the dead bug and engaging the core, how can someone breathe especially exhale completely? Thank you.
I wouldn't inhale or exhale completely when the core is engaged. It is more of an abbreviated breathing pattern if that makes sense.
I have finally harnessed my true hip hinging power. I never knew how much I could HINGEEEEEEEE UNTIL NOW! NOW I CAN HINGE DOWN AND PICK UP ANYTHING AND AT ANY ANGLE! I HAVE BECOME A HINGING MACHINE!
I had my chiropractor do this but it was painful she did both hands at once
Was she doing a diaphragm manipulation/mobilizing technique? If so, that is something completely different from mindfulness breathing exercises.
Music was so annoying
What is IAP?
Intra abdominal pressure
This kind of breath is perfect for musicians.....
Yes many musicians and singers naturally do this well
Why you don’t go all the up down? Until your calves are touch your hamstrings?
Puts a little too much strain on one of my knees due to prior surgeries. If you can do so with no issues then go for it.
Too long a preamble. Pl get to the point faster
Thanks for the feedback. Some people value the informative parts and some do not.
Awesome! Always have pain here. This stretch felt amazing!
It is a important video
I don’t know about bending over and picking up a weight. That one makes me nervous. The other moves give me hope.
It is important to work up to painful/fearful movements but very understandable to be nervous!
Not good, if you cain't left your legs.
Start without lifting your legs then
That is excellent, thank you ❤
Glad you liked it!
Thanks
Can I do it while sitting on the ground and the band is fixed to a wall at the head level? Instead of using hands.
Yea that should work!
I’ve suffered with clicks jaw and crippling migraines neck pains since I was 9 , I am now in my 40’s and my life is like I’ve lost all the years to do anything due to the headaches and constant joint aches my gp just ignores my complaints and they like to just write prescriptions as it’s easier for them
I would recommend seeing somebody for chiropractic or PT to see if it helps.
@@elitechiroperformance thanks for the advice. I do have an appointment with the MSK department but again they will refer me for physio. I am contemplating seeing a chiropractor.. 🥰👍🏻
If you have someone with diastasis recti, do you cue them belly button to spine if they cone/dome during core exercise?
This was great
👍
What is the purpose of this stretch?
Just a way to mobilize and strengthen the back of the shoulder.
@@elitechiroperformance thank you
could you explain why to not let the leg come forward? Does it change what muscles are activated when shifting the leg from being in line with the body to slightly forward? Thanks, I cant find the answer to this question anywhere, just curious what muscles are being activated (or not) in the straight line position compared to the leg coming slightly forward. Thanks
Good question. The theory as that by lifting the leg into extension (backward) will better activate the glutes while inhibiting a muscle called the TFL.
It seems this exercise helps with my upper neck pain. Is it possible to hold longer or is this not recommended?
Yeah that should be ok. I would gradually work up in duration though.
Why do my inner thighs shake though?
There may be a lot of possibilities. Make sure you aren't squeezing the knees inwards too much. However, if you feel the glutes and nothing excessive in the back or hamstrings then you should be good.
Thanks, I will be starting practicing this exercise today.
Are you trying to explain on how to belly breathe?
Not technically. Just reviewing some cues to help cue intra abdominal pressure which involves the usage of the diaphragm (the belly breathing muscle).
Sir i had a severe deviated Nasal septum for more then 5 years and when i had done septoplasty i felt that now i am breathing through mu diaphragm and chest which i cant when i had DNS so can this happen in patients
That is incredibly helpful for my stiff body. No PT has shown me these even though this body craves spinal flexibility and motion. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
I do this exercise on a wooden door because it slides better than on a wall. Also, if you use a pillow, not only is more comfortable but it slides
Both great pieces of advice!
Cools, thanks.
